In its coverage of Hungary’s post-election transition and its implications for Ukraine, The New York Times cited Balázs Jarábik on the timing of a possible EU loan disbursement. Jarábik, a former E.U. diplomat in Kyiv who is now a partner at R.Politik, said that the loan could be unlocked before the political transition in Hungary is fully completed. He noted that the transition itself could still take up to a month, even as Péter Magyar is pressing for a quicker transfer of power.
