Seznam Zprávy cited Balázs Jarábik in its analysis of the political fallout surrounding former defense minister Mykhailo Fedorov. Once closely identified with President Zelensky’s team, Fedorov’s radical (and disruptive for many) reform vision, technological agenda and growing public popularity have increasingly given him an independent political profile.
Jarábik argues that this helps explain the reluctance to bring Fedorov back into government despite public pressure for his return. The issue is both his image as a succesfull refomer and the political consequences of allowing a popular wartime figure to develop an autonomous power base - a recurring tension in Zelensky’s centralized system of governance.
