Just ahead of Ukraine’s 35th Independence Day, Balázs Jarábik joined the Czech podcast Kaviárový tousty from Kyiv to discuss where the country stands in the fifth year of Russia’s full-scale war: militarily, politically and socially.
The conversation also offered a more personal return to Jarábik’s own roots: born in Czechoslovakia, he found himself speaking “Czechoslovak” again, while discussing a country that has been central to his professional life for decades.
